સેના દિવસ કેમ ઉજવવામાં આવે છે?
દેશના બહાદુર અને બહાદુર ભારતીય સૈનિકોને શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ અને સલામ કરવા માટે ઉજવવામાં આવે છે જેમણે દેશની રક્ષા માટે પોતાનું બલિદાન આપ્યું. ભારતીય લશ્કરી જનરલ કોડે દર્ડા મદપ્પા કરિયપ્પાએ બ્રિટિશ લશ્કરી જનરલ રોય બુચરની જગ્યા લીધી અને સ્વતંત્ર ભારતના પ્રથમ ચીફ કમાન્ડર બન્યા.

ભારતીય સેનાના જવાનો (ભારતીય આર્મી બેન્ડ્સ) દ્વારા આર્મી ડેની ઉજવણી દરમિયાન આર્મી ડે પરેડ રજૂ કરવામાં આવે છે, જે અંતર્ગત BLT T-72, T-90 ટાંકી, બ્રહ્મોસ મિસાઇલ, કેરિયર મોટર ટ્રેકડ વ્હીકલ, 155 મીમી સોલટમ ગન, આર્મી એવિએશન ટીમ એડવાન્સ્ડ લાઇટ હેલિકોપ્ટર વગેરે પ્રદર્શિત થાય છે.
ભારતીય સેનાના સૈનિકો તેમની સેવા જાળવવા અને રાષ્ટ્રને સુરક્ષિત રાખવા અને કોઈપણ દુશ્મનનો સામનો કરવા માટે પ્રતિજ્ા લે છે, પછી ભલે તે ઘરેલુ કે બાહ્ય દુશ્મન હોય.
શહીદોને શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ
ભારતીય સરહદ જે દેશની સરહદોનું રક્ષણ કરી રહી છે તેનો ગૌરવશાળી ઇતિહાસ છે. દેશની રાજધાની દિલ્હીના ઇન્ડિયા ગેટ પર બનેલી અમર જવાન જ્યોતિને શહીદોને શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ આપવામાં આવે છે. આ દિવસે સેના પ્રમુખ એવા સૈનિકોનું સન્માન કરે છે જેમણે ઉગ્ર દુશ્મનનો બદલો લીધો હતો અને યુદ્ધ દરમિયાન દેશ માટે બલિદાન આપનારા શહીદોની વિધવાઓને આર્મી મેડલ અને અન્ય પુરસ્કારો એનાયત કર્યા હતા. દર વર્ષે જાન્યુઆરીમાં આર્મી આર્મી ડે ઉજવવામાં આવે છે અને આ સમય દરમિયાન સેના પોતાની તાકાત દર્શાવે છે અને દિવસને સંપૂર્ણ નિષ્ઠા સાથે યાદ કરે છે, જ્યારે ભારતીય જવાનો વર્ષનાં બાર મહિના સરહદ પર રોકતા રહ્યા. બધા
सेना दिवस क्यों मनाया जाता है
देश के हिम्मती और बहादुर भारतीय सैनिकों को श्रद्धांजलि और सलामी देने के लिये इसे मनाया जाता है जिन्होंने देश की रक्षा करने के लिये अपने प्राणों की आहुति दे दी। भारतीय सैनिक जनरल कोदनदेरा मदप्पा करियप्पा ने ब्रिटिश सैनिक जनरल रॉय बुचर की जगह ली थी और स्वतंत्र भारत के पहले प्रधान सेनापति बने थे।
प्राकृतिक आपदा के साथ ही भारतीय सीमाओं पर मुश्किल समय में लड़ने के लिये भारतीय सैनिक हमेशा तैयार रहते हैं साथ ही देश और लोगों की रक्षा के लिये अपने रास्ते में आने वाले सभी कठिनाईयों और चुनौतियों का साहसपूर्वक सामना करते हैं।
सेना दिवस समारोह
देश में आपदा की स्थिति के दौरान भारतीय सैनिक एक बड़ी और महान भूमिका निभाते हैं क्योंकि वो युद्ध जीतने वाली टीम के रुप में कार्य करते हैं और देश के लिये समर्पित हैं। नयी दिल्ली में इंडिया गेट पर “अमर जवान ज्योति” पर कुर्बान हुए भारतीय सेना के सैनिकों के लिये श्रद्धांजलि देने की शुरुआत करने के लिये भारत में सेना दिवस के रुप में इस दिन को मनाने का फैसला किया गया था।
श्रद्धांजलि देने के बाद भारतीय सेना में नयी तकनीक और उपलब्धियों को इंगित करने के लिये मिलिट्री प्रदर्शनियों सहित एक उत्कृष्ट परेड होता है। इस महान अवसर पर बहादुरी पुरस्कार सहित ईकाई परिचय पत्र और सेना मेडल दिया जाता है।
जम्मू और कश्मीर में सेना दिवस उत्सव पर सेना में कर्मचारी होने पर बहादुरी और प्रसिद्ध सेवा पुरस्कार (सेना मेडल, विशिष्ट सेवा मेडल) प्राप्त करते हैं। हिम्मती और निडर भारतीय सैनिकों को याद करने के लिये ये दिन मनाया जाता है जिन्होंने राष्ट्र की सुरक्षा के दौरान अपना जीवन कुर्बान कर दिया।
सेना दिवस परेड
भारतीय सेना के जवानों (भारतीय सेना बैंड्स) द्वारा सेना दिवस उत्सव के दौरान सेना दिवस परेड प्रस्तुत किया जाता है जिसके तहत बीएलटी टी-72, टी-90 टैंक, ब्रह्मोज मिसाइल, कैरियर मोटार्र ट्रैक्ड वैहिकिल, 155 एमएम सोलटम गन, सेना विमानन दल का उन्नत प्रकाश हेलिकॉप्टर इत्यादि का प्रदर्शन किया जाता है।
भारतीय सेना में सैनिक अपनी सेवा को कायम रखने और राष्ट्र को सुरक्षित रखने के लिये कसम खाते हैं तथा किसी भी दुश्मन का डट कर सामना करते हैं फिर चाहे वो घरेलू या बाहरी कोई भी दुश्मन हो।
शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि
देश की सीमाओं की चौकसी करने वाली भारतीय सेना का गौरवशाली इतिहास रहा है। देश की राजधानी दिल्ली के इंडिया गेट पर बनी अमर जवान ज्योति पर शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि दी जाती है। इस दिन सेना प्रमुख दुश्मनों को मुँहतोड़ जवाब देने वाले जवानों और जंग के दौरान देश के लिए बलिदान करने वाले शहीदों की विधवाओं को सेना मैडल और अन्य पुरस्कारों से सम्मानित करते हैं। हर वर्ष जनवरी में 'थल सेना सेना' दिवस मनाया जाता है और इस दौरान सेना अपने दम-खम का प्रदर्शन करने के साथ ही उस दिन को पूरी श्रद्धा से याद करती है, जब सीमा पर वर्ष के बारह महीने जमे रह कर भारतीय जवानों ने समस्त

Tribute to the martyrs
The Indian Army which has been patronizing the borders of the country has a glorious history. Amar Jawan Jyoti, built on the India Gate of the country's capital Delhi, is paid tribute to the martyrs.
